- PART TWO: Applique & Free-Motion Embroidery over FUR
- PART THREE: Spider Web Quilting & Spider Web Cutwork
Would you like the Hallowkitty pattern? It's FREE! Just join my free school, Create with Clare Rowley, and pick it up inside the Fabricly Speaking LIVE Show group. You will also find my Pumpkin pattern there!

WHAT I USED

Stick and Tear Stabilizer

Hold Light Stabilizer

Vintage Style Wooden Fabric Presser, Clare Rowley

Octi-Hoops, Free Motion Embroidery & Quilting Hoops
OCTI-HOOPS
- Free-motion embroider on any garment, even baseball caps!
- Using handles that feel like a crayon, you simply draw with your sewing machine.
- Free-motion quilting is like tracing on paper! You use 2 frames so the quilt is supported.
- No puckers, ever!
- Use with or without a free-motion foot!
STICK AND TEAR + HOLD LIGHT
- Adhere Stick and Tear to the Octi-Hoops frame, stretch it tight, then lay your fabric on top. It holds it down so you don't need a free-motion foot!
- Hold Light is a lightweight, iron-on, tear-away stabilizer that keeps your fabric from shifting or stretching while you sew.
- Lay your cut out applique pieces, place Hold Light over the top and iron. Your pieces are secured and since it's clear, you can still see where to sew!
NOTE FROM CLARE

Hi Creatives!
My Hallowkitty project was sure challenging (because I made it harder, using fur in place of cotton)! It was also very exciting. I love trying something for the first time and especially love showing you my learning process LIVE. Embroidering over 1/4" thick faux fur was definitely not what I had planned, and it took the project to the next level!
The Early Bird gets the biggest savings, so today is the day to grab your goodies at 30% off. Tomorrow I'll send you more spooky projects!
Fondly,
Clare Rowley
