When you have many small pieces of fabric to press, it can be very annoying keeping an iron hot and ready. Also great to have handy when you want to press something and you don't want to wait for your iron to get hot.
We stabilize the wood using resin, cook them and then turn each one by hand on a lathe. This makes the wood heat resistant, and stronger than unprepared wood.
You will love the comfort of our ergonomic design and likely find it is your go-to tool for just about every project. Watch the video, that is within the product images, to see why our pressers are so popular and how we make them!
Really like this. Love the colors and softness and the way it presses. Very convenient
The presser is beautiful. A real work of art. However my issue is with the mailing. I ordered and used my home address. Somehow it was sent to my neighbors address (actually was printed on the label). They have never ordered from you so you should not have their address in your database. Luckily they know me and gave it to me.
Just finishing an over 700 piece I Spy Coin Quilt. Can't imagine doing it without the vintage wooden presser! Tried other types and found them uncomfortable to use and unkind to my hands. Clare's smooth, ergonomic design makes this presser a joy to use, physically and estheticly. If I hadn't employed it on those endless seams, I know my fingernails would be screaming at me - that's if I had any left!
Wish I could get one in every color combination lol So many choices!
A wonderful tool and wonderful craftsmanship.
It's almost too pretty to use but it works too well to let it just sit. I'm very happy with it.
For 30 I received a piece of wood, "Presser" which was not terrific in quality. The ad led one to believe there were three different pressers, colorful and turned beautifully. Not so much? Not much more than a died dowel. I have another piece of wood like this, the turning beuitful;, color beautiful and it only cost $15 with a specialiized clip on the end. Sorry but it doesn't look like what it was supposed to.
