Nylon Threads

You won’t find a smoother or finer thread anywhere. Each are made of 100% nylon, and will not melt under your iron unless you ignite your fabric on fire. Why? Because the melting point of nylon is 500 degrees and the burning point of the most heat resistant fabric (cotton) is 250 degrees. Nylon threads are used by factories for sustainability, durability, stretch quality and because they are heat resistant. You'll find nylon thread used in car seats, boat seats, out-door furniture, bathing suits, lingerie, T shirts, Sweat Shirts and the list goes on. The stretchy quality of the thread makes it able to withstand the fabric stretching, ensuring the item you make will last as long as the fabric's life.

Wonderfil Invisifil Thread

Stitching in a ditch when you want subtle color. Top stitching. Edge Stitching. For scarfs. (tiny satinedges using Satinedge foot) Stippling, because the thread is so thin you can apply more stitches and line them up closer. One bobbin of this 100wt thread holds 70% more thread than 30wt cotton quilting thread. Wind less bobbins. Strong - stretchy behavior makes it a better choice over cotton on any garment or quilt that will ever be stretched. If you make a quilt to hang on the wall, it doesn't matter if the thread is strong, however when you place it on a bed, someone will sit on it - the bed will sink - the fabric will stretch - the thread will break (unless it stretches)
